According to the results, just two GOS participated coming 5th in the mixed Traditional Breed class for July Gilts and January Gilts so congratulations to Sue Cooke (who took the best of breed prize) and Judy Hancox and Gary Wallace for reminding the people of Wales about our breed.... Andrew Robinson judged what were the second strongest breed classes at any show this season. For those of you visiting this year's Great Yorkshire Show (12-15 July), please look carefully at the uusally familiar exhibitors. For this year, Kevin Matthews who has been showing British saddleback pigs for more then 20 years is cutting off his long pony tail for the very first time and will be almost unrecognisable to all but his parents.
