Gt Yorkshire Show & Northern Championship Results

The Great Yorkshire Show at Harrogate took place in July and the GOS were judged by Dave Overton from Surrey. The Female and Breed Champion was Stephen and Mandy Boooth's Chapel Dolly 21 from Cheshire. Male and Reserve Breed Champion went to the same exhibitor's Chapel Patrick 10 and the Reserve Female Champion was awarded to Julian Newth from Somerset with Shepton Muriel 7.

On the Wednesday, Breed Champions from the north came together and were judged by Paul Waddington from Lancashire for the Myrtle Styles Memorial Cup awarded each year for the Northern Champion. The Cup went to Stephen & Mandy Booth's same gilt, Chapel Dolly 21, which qualified by being Breed Champion at the Great Yorkshire Show. The Runners-up prize went to Malcolm & Su Hicks' Windmill Rufus 17 which qualified at the Royal Show.
